Episode 05: Buying New Things for an Old Boat

Part of adding new life to an old wooden boat is to invite some upgrades aboard. This week I got a new hard bottom dingy for free that needs some work…but that's a later project. I also finished my 1st section of deck with my new beautiful Redwood planks. This deck project will continue over the next few weeks until the entire decks are replaced. Another exciting addition to the team is a new roller furler. I was going back-and-forth about adding roller furling but I feel like roller furling is a better option for me compared to hank on due to the facts that I will possibly be single handing the boat. There's still much work ahead on my boat refit of my Wharram Narai catamaran, but it's very nice for the 1st time in week visually seeing improvements made.
